We have worked with Paul on multiple projects here at the Uptown Center and he has always done an excellent job. He works with us on the drawings and design. When he does his installation it is on time and he takes special care to review his work to ensure that the cabinetry is installed with precision. I would definitely recommend Searcy Woodworks!
My beautiful contemporary, suspended shelves and coordinating cabinetry, including 4 filing cabinets, is beyond my expectations. The work includes drawers to house my printer, out of sight. The work is immaculate. The soft closing of the drawers and cabinet is luxe. The finishes are perfect. The installation was professional and attentive to every detail. Paul was clean, precise and helpful in making sure all of the grommets needed for electrical cords were complete. He worked with my designer to help me redesign my entire office. He even put up with my overly friendly Aussie who thinks if you are on the floor you want to play! Mine was a smaller job, for him and Joe, but he treated it as if it were a big project. He takes great pride in his work. I am new to having custom builds, but I am not sure I can ever go back! Thanks, Paul and Joe! I love my office space!
We hired Searcy Woodworks to build a 7 foot cabinet and a matching door for the linen closet in a bathroom we remodeled. All aspects of the project went well. Paul helped us think about the drawer layout and select the materials (wood, drawer slides and hinges, handles). He did an excellent job fabricating and installing the cabinet and linen door. He took extra time to ensure all doors and drawers were perfectly aligned. Paul was very easy to work with.
I have been a client of Paul Searcy for 11 years. He did all of our kitchen, bathroom, and laundry room cabinets, they are beautifully simple made of Alder and all the internal hardware is top quality.
I have used him also for making furniture. He made a bookcase/entertainment center that covers an entire wall made of mahogany. His attention to detail and design is what sets him apart.
The latest piece of furniture is a signature piece. It has crotch mahogany veneers a marble inset top with a roll-out shelf behind doors and 3 drawers that have a self-close feature when you push them slightly.

Mr. Searcy planned, designed, built and installed new, Shaker style painted kitchen cabinets for us. He has done a beautiful job from start to (almost) finish (we are not quite complete yet). His work is meticulous and accurate the first time, he is reliable, timely, and a pleasure to work with. He has a great eye for aesthetics and offers sound advice on design, layout and hardware decisions. It’s been so easy to work with him and he provides a great product with a beautiful finish. I enjoy having him in my home and he even plays a game with my son where he hides little surprises in the cabinets as they have been going up. He also templated and cut our butcher block countertops so they fit exactly to the wall. Couldn’t have asked for a better cabinet experience! I will post photos when our project is complete.
My Husband and I are remodeling a home and the kitchen cabinets in the home were very nice but

I remember clearly how I met Paul Searcy. I am a general contractor and was going to do a bathroom remodel on a house in Albuquerque. The homeowner wanted bathroom vanities made for the bathroom and had recently had his kitchen redone by another contractor. I took one look at the kitchen cabinets then told the homeowner- “whoever made your kitchen cabinets is the person we are going to use to make the vanities for your bathroom”. That person turned out to be Paul Searcy of course. A few weeks later I met Paul, he made the vanities, they came out beautifully and Paul has been my custom cabinet maker ever since. That was around 2002.
I can tell you about how honest, painstaking, ( reasonably priced) pleasant, and meticulous he is but you already know that or will as soon as you meet him so I won’t go on and on. Suffice it to say that when it came time to build my own home, Paul was the only person I even considered to make every kitchen cabinet, hutch, bathroom vanities, and a linen tower that is museum quality in its elegance and proportion.
